On October 25, 2025, the Lord welcomed home one of His faithful servants, Ruby Willams—a devoted mother, grandmother, nurse, and cherished friend whose life was marked by grace, kindness, and unwavering faith. Born in Dundee, Mississippi in 1946 and later rooted in Maywood, Illinois, Ruby touched countless lives through her 45-year nursing career, her joyful presence in every celebration, and her deep love for God’s Word. Whether she was sending her signature “Happy Friday” messages, organizing joyful gatherings, or quietly praying over her Bible with a warm cup of coffee, Ruby lived each day with purpose and compassion. Her life was a ministry of love, laughter, and service, and she leaves behind a legacy as beautiful as the spirit she carried.
