The Standard in Custom Apparel

The Standard in Custom Apparel

Silk screen printing is the gold standard for custom apparel — and for good reason. Using precision-cut stencils and high-quality inks, we push color through a mesh screen directly onto your garment, one layer at a time. The result is a print that's bold, crisp, and built to last.

At 25M Printing, we bring military-grade precision to every order, whether it's 12 shirts for a family reunion or 500 uniforms for a corporate event. Your design, your colors, your vision — printed to perfection.

How Silk Screen Printing Works

Silk screen printing — also called screen printing or serigraphy — is one of the most time-tested methods in the industry. Here's how we do it at 25M:

1. Send us your design. We review your artwork for printability, color accuracy, and placement. Our team flags any issues before production begins — no surprises.

2. We burn a screen for each color. A mesh screen is coated with photosensitive emulsion and exposed to your artwork. One screen per ink color creates the crisp, defined edges silk screen is known for.

3. Ink is pushed through the screen. A squeegee presses ink through the open areas of the stencil directly onto your garment — one color at a time, building up your full design.

4. Heat curing locks the print in. Each garment runs through a conveyor dryer, curing the ink deep into the fabric for a print that holds up wash after wash.

5. Quality check and ship. Every order is inspected before it's packed. We don't let anything leave the shop that we wouldn't be proud to wear ourselves.

Ink Options That Set Your Design Apart

Ink Options That Set Your Design Apart

Not all silk screen inks are the same, and choosing the right one makes a big difference in the final result.

Plastisol — the industry standard — delivers opaque, vibrant colors on any garment color. Water-based inks offer a softer hand feel that breathes with the fabric. For something truly unique, ask about metallic, puff, glow-in-the-dark, or discharge inks that remove the garment's dye for a vintage, breathable finish.

Whatever your vision, we have the ink — and the expertise — to make it real.

FAQ

What's the minimum order for silk screen printing?

Silk screen printing is most cost-effective at 12 or more pieces per design. The setup process — burning a screen for each color — means larger orders bring the per-piece cost down significantly. Contact us and we'll walk you through the best options for your quantity.

How long will my silk screen print last?

With proper care, silk screen prints are designed to last for years. Our heat-cured inks bond directly into the fabric. We recommend washing inside out in cold water and avoiding high-heat dryers to keep your print looking its best.

How many colors can I use in my design?

Each color in your design requires a separate screen. We handle designs from 1-color simple logos up to multi-color artwork. We can also match Pantone colors for brand consistency. If you're unsure about your color count, our team will review your file and advise on the best approach.

What file formats do you accept?

We prefer vector files (.ai, .eps, .pdf) for the cleanest results. High-resolution raster files (.png, .psd at 300 dpi or higher) also work for most designs. If you only have a low-res logo or a rough idea, our team can help get your artwork print-ready.

What's the difference between silk screen and DTF or heat transfer printing?

Silk screen printing pushes ink directly through a stencil onto the garment — it's the most durable and vibrant method for larger orders with bold designs. DTF (Direct to Film) and heat transfers are better suited for small quantities or highly detailed, photographic artwork. We offer both at 25M Printing, and our team will recommend the right method for your specific job.
